Vector Portrait

Pre-Production I started by selecting a picture to use for my portrait. I selected a close up of my face because it was the only viable photo I had of myself. I choses to do the low poly portrait because I really liked how it looked.I then made two art boards, one for reference, and one to to make my vector portrait on. I also turned the grid on and made sure the pen strokes snapped to it so I could start to make the triangles. Production Making the triangles wasn't hard at all it was just very time consuming and tedious. Same with filling them it just took time. I learned that you need to have all of your layers organized or it quickly becomes a mess. I chose a greenish blue color for my background because it went good with the colors used in my portrait. Post-Production    Overall I was really pleased with the outcome of my vector portrait. I do wish I could find a way to make my eyes look more natural though.
