Film Reel Blog

 For my film reel I tried to portray a teen lifestyle. It shows several teenagers in moments when they are thriving and when they are at a low. I really like this because it makes the reel more relatable to my fellow classmates. I also wanted it to really flow naturally to make it easy to watch so I didn't have any headers for my film clips and just let the shots speak for themselves. I also tried to edit my shots in a way that the movement flowed through each to make it feel even more smooth and collected.   I also tried to really showcase cinematography and good lighting in this reel. I used some of my best colored and lit shots from lowlight and daylight to show the variety I am capable of. I chose my most cinematically composed shots that show purposeful spacing and positioning of the subjects. I had my friend Cade Wait compose my music so it would fit perfectly with my reel and add some extra suspense. I was very picky with the shots I used so unfortunately my reel was a ...
