Website Portfolio Project

Overview For our e-Comm portfolio project we had to make a web page about ourselves and some of the projects we have worked on throughout the year. The home page included a elevator pitch and a few links. On the project page we put several of our projects and the blog post that went with those.  What Did I Learn I learned a ton of things about Dreamweaver during this project. One of  the many things I learned was how to embed links and how you could get them to open in different tabs. Another thing I leaned was how to customize your background and text color to make the page your own and give it personality. Overall it was a great learning experience and gave me a basic understanding of dreamweaver.  How Did It Go It went pretty smoothly most of the time but there were a few small difficulties. One of these difficulties was the side bar moving to the bottom of the screen. I fixed this by moving the sidebar div back to its correct spot under the main d...

Sketchup House

Overview  For our project we were given the task of making an house in Sketchup. We had to pick a house from housplans.com that was at least 500 square feet. Then we would have to recreate that house in Sketchup and it had to look somewhat similar to the one you chose. What We Did  So we started out with a simple cube the size of our houses dimensions. Then we added stuff such as the roof, steps, and porches. After that we did more detailed things like windows and railing. Then one of the final things we did was add the textures to our house to make it realistic and unique. We also had to find two of our own textures of the web to make our house even more unique. Outcome  Overall I think this was a very good project and a great learning experience. By makeing a house in Sketchup it alowed us to get used to Sketchups tools and physics. I now know way more about Sketchup and how it works than i did a couple weekes ago. In the end this was...

One with a vertical bounce, one with a arc ing bounce, and one where we create what ever we want as long as it incorporates a bounce. All three of these animate were made in photoshop. Next we turned the layers into frames and made it a gif. How It Went Overall it went very well and was very. There were some parts that were difficult, like when I accidentally deleted all my frames. Overall it was a fun project and a great learning experience

Ten Words Animation

Ten Words Animation  Overview  For this project we were tasked with making an animation of ten words that described us in photoshop. We used transitions and opacity in the animation to add to the effect.  What I learned  I learned how do many animation related things inside of photoshop. One of these was transitions and how you can rotate and slide text and images. How Did It Go It was very fun to learn how to animate in photoshop. It went very smothly and it was fun tosee it all come together.

Logo Project

The Process  I started the process by filing pages in my sketch book with ruff and simple designs. I then narrowed it down to three designs, which I then made a final copy for each. I showed these three designs to Mr. Olsen, and he helped me to chose the best one. I took this design into Adobe Illustrator and started making the final design. I messed around with various angles, colors, and and shapes until I found what looked best for me. Decisions  I wanted a logo that was going to look very sharp and professional so decided to use a an abstract B with a lot of 45 degree angles. I also chose to use a square to contain my logo because it brings the design together and contains it well. I didn't want to use a lot bright colors because I wanted to stick to the simple and professional theme so I chose to us black and grey. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome of my logo.

Typography Project

Typography Project Overview  For our typography project we had to write our name in adobe illustrator and label the different parts. This project was meant to help us understand the different parts of text, and fonts, and it did a good at that. What we Learned   We leaned a variety of text vocabulary such as shoulder, counter, ear, bowl, and many more. It also helped us get more familiar with the program Adobe Illustrator. Overall it was a great learning experience. How Did it go Overall this was a great project that taught us a lot about typography, and Adobe illustrator. It was all so a very fun project, it was very interesting to see what our names were made out of. Overall this was a very fun and educational project.
